Marvin United Methodist Church seeks to guide everyone into a growing relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. There, you can expect to meet people who are following Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Located in Tyler, Texas, Marvin UMC believes that being a disciple of Jesus Christ is a life-long calling. Disciple means “student," and we are called to be a student of Jesus all the days we are here on earth. A disciple must learn God’s Word (the Bible), understand God’s plan, be a part of a community of faith, and much more. We do not discover this on our own, but by learning to be a disciple of Jesus together in a church.
